Geekniche uses WordPress as its backbone. One of the great things about WordPress is the availability of about a bazillion different themes. All of the themes listed here are free to use and to modify as you see fit. They include all the files and images required, but some may need the installation of additional fonts or plugins to match what’s shown in the screen captures.

All the screen captures are of the same blog, so it’s easy to compare them. The screen captures were taken viewing the blog at 1024×768 resolution in Firefox (Windows). Because MS Internet Explorer is not W3C standards-compliant, some of the themes may render differently in IE than in FF. Reasonable effort has been made to assure that the themes work in most browsers, but some compromises are inevitable when dealing with the “quirks” of the IE rendering engine.
